2 Fast 2 Furious & "Turbo-Charged Prelude" Thread:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Time for our second short film! The Vin Diesel-directed half-hour short "Los Bandoleros"! Down the rabbit hole we go...
Note: this is the only F&F film I've never seen before. Also, we're doing this in story order, so: The Fast and the Furious, Turbo-Charged Prelude, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Los Bandoleros, Fast & Furious, Fast 5, Fast & Furious 6, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (STORY order as opposed to release order - I know Tokyo Drift came out third but the events take place after 4, 5, and 6. Can't say any more without serious spoilers)
In the surprise of the century, the very very beginning of Los Bandoleros is 100% indistinguishable from the very beginning of Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights. This is funny, but I am not kidding.
Um...anti Iraq-war poetry? I'm now ready for anything
Just FYI I think this whole movie is in Spanish. I'm watching a foreign language film. I feel cultured as FUCK
OH SHIT IT'S HAAAAAAAAAAAN! Hey, Han. We love you.
Apparently "Dear God" in Mexican is "Hola, Señor". I lol'd
From now on I'm ordering my beers "Ice cold. Frosty, like a wedding dress."
"It ain't that hard to track you down, all I gotta do is follow the smell of skanks." - Michelle Rodriguez. Man, Letty likes to talk about skanks. Less animal noises this time around though
Oh damn. This is a hell of a scene !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Aaaaaand that's how Los Bandoleros ends. Blue balls. The bluest of balls. But I have to say, definitely worth the watch. Certainly one of the more quality films in the series. No action though, which is disappointing. Although at some point they had to slow down the arms race because there's only so much bigger you can go, right?
ANYWAY IT'S ON TO FAST & FURIOUS:

Maybe I'll watch them all in order today too.
I can't stand Tokyo drift though, I've seen it about a million times.

Story order not release order. The events of 4, 5, and 6 take place before the events of Tokyo Drift

Can't wait until you reach Tokyo Drift, I heart that movie far more than I should. Partly because I want that sweet Monte Carlo from the beginning sequence.
